The sun arrives already loud, bro
heat shimmering off the windshield like bad advice
palms conducting traffic with one lazy hand
everybody says they'll be there in five
The expressway disagrees, obviamente
brake lights bloom like artificial hibiscus
somewhere reggaetón leaks from a cracked window
somewhere cafecito powers another miracle
A thunderstorm assembles itself from gossip
dark clouds pulling up sin invitación
the sky dumps everything, then apologizes
ten minutes later the blue returns untouched
The city keeps practicing reinvention
dale, another afternoon, another orbit
