Dangerous Pranks with the Mouth
Jennifer Clark

Too many young ladies these days engage in the heedless act of placing pins between their teeth. Reckless, yes! Unlike a child who wonders about all things sparkly and innocently swallows a whistle, these women, in various states of undress, carelessly permit pins to tumble on the tongue and plummet down their swan-like throats. Needles and pins may lodge in the larynx. The more fortunate may painfully excrete them, though sometimes they travel to the stomach, only to poke through and harmlessly exit their supple skin. This reporter also knows of women who, perhaps to feel shiny, crave burnished bites. One woman, before she languished and expired, gorged on no less than 380 needles.
